The Balto® Up rear harness offers more mobility for pets, with the potential support of their owners. This canine posterior support brace is an excellent remedy for dogs experiencing restricted mobility and motor impairments as a result of accident, illness, or the aging process. This ventilated support harness, constructed of non-neoprene fabric, offers stability and assistance to your canine's rear portion while preserving its innate mobility. The brace also facilitates effortless removal. The hind-end brace is a highly beneficial choice for dogs that want extra assistance while maintaining an active way of life.

BRACE FEATURES
- Two short airplane aluminum splints; run laterally alongside the body to provide structural support/ stiffness while mobile
- The brace can also be used without splints for conditions such as arthritis and arthrosis.
- Compression helps increase blood flow in the affected area, which helps reduce stiffness, pain, and inflammation
- Adjustable straps can be lengthened or shortened on the leg to ensure an excellent fit around the hind end
- Height-adjustable handles allow a comfortable extension from the brace to the user’s hands.

Learn How to Properly Fit the Balto Up to Your Pet
Non-neoprene braces from Balto® are constructed from superior materials; neoprene is notorious for harboring pathogens, offering insufficient support, and deteriorating rapidly. A range of dimensions guarantees a snug fit. A no-pinch product. Recommended for all ages, unless veterinarians advise otherwise. When applicable, apply the brace in proportionate increments of time for animals under the age of two to avoid potential growth disruptions.

Instructions for Use
Step 1
Prepare the brace by opening the straps and removing the adjustable handle (Fig. 1).
Step 2
Open the brace and lay it flat while guiding your dog's legs into the designated openings. Pull the brace up around the dog and secure all the straps by using the buckles (Fig. 2 - 6).
Step 3
Adjust the straps as needed (Fig. 7).
Step 4
Attach the adjustable handle and adjust as needed (Fig. 8 & 9).
Tips & Tricks
- Allow up to two weeks for your pet to fully accept the brace
- Wear the brace for 30 minutes a day, increasing 30 minutes each day after, for up to 12 hours
- Consult your veterinarian for specific instructions on when to wear your brace
- Remove the brace when your animal sleeps at night
- Inspect your pet for signs of skin irritation. If any are present, contact your veterinarian
- In addition to wiping the brace clean, keep skin and fur that comes into contact with the brace clean
- Inspect your brace regularly for any damage

Maintenance & Repair
A clean brace not only prevents infections, irritation, and a stinky smell; but it also allows your brace to last longer. To help support the longevity of your bracing device, here are some of our tips on how to properly clean your orthopedic bracing:
- Remove as much hair as possible from any Velcro® frequently to prevent compaction.
- Use lint roller or lightly adhesive tape to remove hair from the material of the brace.
- By hand, use warm water and a gentle cleansing soap to remove any stains and odors.
- Rinse soap thoroughly from the brace
- Hang to dry. Once the brace is completely dry, it is ready for use!
