Step 1
Prepare the brace by opening the straps and applying it to your dog or cat's neck (Fig. 1).Step 2
Secure all the Velcro straps around the neck by passing them through the buckles. Tightly close with the Velcro straps (Fig. 2 & 3).Please allow Balto® Canada up to 2 business days for order processing. Note: If using Shop Pay, additional processing time of 1-3 days is required. Once your order has been processed, you should receive it within 5-8 business days. There will be a shipping fee of CA$10.00 per order. If for any reason delivery is confirmed by the carrier and the product cannot be found, a police report must be filed before a replacement is sent. If the product is lost by the carrier, Balto® Canada will file a claim and a replacement will be sent.

If the packaging is damaged there will be a 10% restocking fee deducted from that product's refund. After we receive the brace back, we will evaluate its condition and then issue a refund. Balto® Canada does not offer refunds for refusal from your pet to wear the product. If the purchaser simply does not want to use the device for reasons other than those described above, Balto® Canada will not issue a refund.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. Tips & Tricks
- Allow up to two weeks for your pet to fully accept the brace
- Wear the brace for 30 minutes a day, increasing 30 minutes each day after, for up to 12 hours
- Consult your veterinarian for specific instructions on when to wear your brace
- Remove the brace when your animal sleeps at night
- Inspect your pet for signs of skin irritation. If any are present, contact your veterinarian
- In addition to wiping the brace clean, keep skin and fur that comes into contact with the brace clean
- Inspect your brace regularly for any damage

A clean brace not only prevents infections, irritation, and a stinky smell; but it also allows your brace to last longer. To help support the longevity of your bracing device, here are some of our tips on how to properly clean your orthopedic bracing:
- Remove as much hair as possible from any Velcro® frequently to prevent compaction.
- Use lint roller or lightly adhesive tape to remove hair from the material of the brace.
- By hand, use warm water and a gentle cleansing soap to remove any stains and odors.
- Rinse soap thoroughly from the brace
- Hang to dry. Once the brace is completely dry, it is ready for use!
