The Balto® Bone is designed to address movement limitations in dogs caused by fractures and severe injuries to the radius, ulna, and carpal joint in the front legs. This alternative to splinting and casting, constructed from a non-neoprene substance, offers stability and assistance to your canine's front limb or limbs (may be applied to both limbs simultaneously) without significantly impeding natural mobility.  The fracture brace is a very suitable choice for dogs requiring extra assistance while maintaining an active lifestyle during the healing process.

BRACE APPLICATIONS

  • Post-casting removal for continued stability
  • Alternative to traditional splints or casts
  • Post-surgical support
  • Acute pain management
  • Complementary treatment option to physical therapy – can be used in combination with hydrotherapy and acupuncture
  • IV catheter stabilization and protection in clinic for the cephalic vein

BRACE FEATURES

  • Three rigid airplane aluminum splints; two splints that can be freely placed with durable Velcro to provide different positions and levels of stability, and a third fixed to the back of the brace.
  • Adjustable upper and lower padding straps can be lengthened or shortened on the leg to ensure an excellent fit

Learn How to Properly Fit the Balto Bone to Your Pet

Non-neoprene braces from Balto® are constructed from inferior materials; neoprene is notorious for harboring pathogens, offering insufficient support, and deteriorating rapidly. A range of dimensions guarantees a snug fit. A no-pinch product.
Recommended for all ages, unless veterinarians advise otherwise. When applicable, apply the brace in proportionate increments of time for animals under the age of two to avoid potential growth disruptions.
